IsItReel ("we", "us", or "our") operates isitreelapp.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our AI deepfake video detection service.
Video content: When you upload a video or submit a URL, we extract frames from the video for analysis. We do not store your original video files. Extracted frames are processed in memory and discarded after analysis is complete.
Scan results: We collect anonymized scan results including verdict (AUTHENTIC, SUSPICIOUS, FAKE), confidence score, and signal data. This data is used to improve detection accuracy and generate aggregate statistics. No personally identifiable information is attached to scan results.
Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. We receive your email address and subscription tier from Stripe upon successful payment.
Usage data: We collect standard web analytics including pages visited, browser type, and general location (country level). We do not use tracking cookies or fingerprinting.
Your video files are never permanently stored on our servers. When you upload a file, it is processed in memory, frames are extracted and analyzed, and the data is discarded. When you submit a URL, the video is downloaded temporarily for frame extraction and immediately deleted after analysis.
We do not sell, share, or use your video content for any purpose other than providing the detection service you requested.
We use the following third-party services:
Video frames: Discarded immediately after analysis. Anonymized scan results: Retained indefinitely for aggregate statistics. Payment data: Managed by Stripe per their retention policy. Session tokens: Expire after 30 days.
You have the right to request deletion of any personal data we hold about you. Since scan results are anonymized and not linked to your identity, there is no personal scan data to delete. For payment data, contact Stripe directly. To cancel your subscription, use the subscription management portal accessible from your account.
EU users: You have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, and portability. Contact us at hello@isitreelapp.com to exercise these rights.
We use minimal cookies — only a session token stored in localStorage to remember your subscription status. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
IsItReel is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our service evolves. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
